This paper generalized the situation of the experiment of microblast technology and its application to calculus-smashing treatment conducted in Japan and China since 1970s; expounded the selection of explosive varieties for microblasting, priming methods, microblast-ing apparatus types and their manufacturing process, observation of action process of microblasting and its technical parameters, and revealed the development prospect of microblasting technology.
