This paper presented a successful example of blasting dike to discharge flood in fighting a flood and rushing to deal with an emergency in July, 1996, mainly introducing the determination of blasting parameters in the special case, the waterproof measures for common ammon explosive in the case of coyotes seriously water-accumulated and the laying of blasting circuits in darkness.
