Based on the merits of water infusion blasting, the scheme of water infusion blasting was used to remove the chimney of a coke oven at Xiangtan Steel CO. and achieved satisfactory results. The author introduced the blasting scheme and the determination of blasting parameters, and made an approach to the safety and reliability, cartridge arrangement and water infusion.
