Open-air chamber blastings were conducted under the adverse conditions of open - pit mine with narrow topography, steep slopes and deep gullies, large elevation difference, high slope and existing underground tunnels etc. The author introduced the adopted techniques, the safety measures and the achieved good blast effects, all of which are valuable to the design of similar works.
