This paper discussed the scientific and technical progress made in China in trackless loading/haulage equipment in recent years, specially focusing on the structural characteristics and on-mine application situation of series WJ and CY LHD machines and 18t undergnound trucks,and predicted the main trends of trackless loading/haulage equipment in China in the period of Ninth Five-Year Plan and in 21 century.
