The gradual establishment of socialist market economy system is bringing mine enterprises a good developmental opportunity. Meanwhile,the enterprises are facing a stern challenge. It is necessary for the ones to combine transformation of operating mechanism with consciousness of intensified management and the management of improved internal normalization in the process of deep-going reform. The potential advantage of mine enterprises can be taken better and their temporary difficulties will be overcome. In this way, they can keep a good market in hand in the competence of market economy. The author discusses the problems existing in the normalized management of mine enterprises and makes some recommendations.
