The authors present a new test method used to study the wearlessness of bit. As for this method, the variation of diamond on the same matrix surfaces in the process of drilling was shot continuously, and the wearing mechanism of diamond bit was observed and analyzed microscopically, from which the two new conclusions had been obtained. The conclusions can provide a reference to the design and use of impregnated diamond bits.
