In the modernization construction of mine, by considering the specific situa-tion of No. 2 mining district of Jinchuan Nonferrous Metals Co, client server system struc-ture and the network form combining main line with star-type distribution are used to es-tablish the computer network system, which was used to conduct the scientific manage-ment of main links of mining production The design and application of this computer net-work system are described in this paper.
