On the basis of learning the mining technology of spontaneous caving method from other country, Tongkuangyu copper mine organized the professional techni-cians in China to tackle the difficult problems on science and technology, and made a no-talbe achievement in an approach to cavability, mining technology and ore drawing control etc. The author makes a brief introduction to both experiences in these studies and direc-tions towards future work.
