The orebody in Jinshan gold mine is flatly inclined and has thin to medium thickness, with a complicated morphology, thus the mining is very difficult. Originally, the longwall mining method was used, but the result was that ore loss was great in min-ing . and both operating labour efficiency and productive capacity of stope were low There-fore , the authors made a test for room-and-pillar mining with lump rock cemented pillars, and obtained some good expriences and obvious economic gain.
