Abstract:In the stope for the mass caving method, the bottom structure, at which the secondary crushing level was arranged, was used generally. This layout not only was heavy in developmental work but also could not solve the contradiction of high-efficiency caving with low-efficiency ore removal. As viewed from this, a bold innovation has been conducted in Fenghuangshan copper mine. A bottom structure with flat sill, without se-condary crushing level, for vibrated continuous ore removal has been designed to use for solving the previous problems, with a better and satisfactory result.
