The success in the technical reform of the mining method for the eastern Orebody and its deployment in Baiyin deep copper mine provided a useful reference exam-ple for the open-stope method and the stoping-and-filling method used under condi-tions of moderately stable orebody and host rock. Teh combined use of new techniques and new method pldyed a greater role in the intensified mining, made the advanced mining method to be combined systematically with the conventional equipment, and provided a certain experience for flexible use of mining method and further increase in mining resulls.
