The collection and research of information are the vanguard of the scientificresearch and economic work, and the basis of decision work.The author advances a newideological train of information research work and a model of investigation work,anddemonstrates the feasibility of this ideological train on the basis of his practice. In addi- tion, he makes some recommendations for the future work according to his long- term expe- riences in information research.
