According to the literature information and the practice in rock blasting en- gineering,the auther analyzes many causes of flyrock produced in rock blasting and pointedout that a series of measures should be taken to prevent flyrock.It is considered that theelaborate design and close operation should be conducted,as viewed from safety,to reduceor eliminate the flyrock a ccident.
