In order to extract the metals from the leach solusion, it is necessary to usethe other method to precipitate the metal ions in the leach solution in the case that the sol- uble ore is saturated with leach solution containing metal ions.The method,discussed inthis paper, which the passive electrowinning is used to reduce the metal ions in leach solu- tion is a new technique with wide prospect. Compared with the extraction /electrowinningused in the past to obtain the metal ions from the leach solution,it has advantages of sim- ple process, short construction period, less investment,low energy consqumption and goodproduct quality etc,so it is worthy to be deployed considerably.
