The development of ATM 1200 model blind raise boring machine is for meet-ing the needs of blind raising in China. The machine has advantages as follows: advaneedstructure,operation safety and reliability, high boring speed,low boring cost and convenienceof installation and maintenance. The features,main parameters, performance, working princi-ple,base structure, introduction of industrial pilot test and assessment at the parties con-cerned are described in the paper.
