Currently no unified standard of evaluating effectiveness of cuftain grout exists in the world. Previously, qualitative and quantitative evaluation were only put to limited use For quantitative evaluation on the basis of considering all of factors the curtain grout effectiveness in Tonglushan mine was comprehensively evaluated by means of numerical simulation method and developing aprogramm with Fortran 77 language, and through microcomputer operation. The result achieved by this method was consistent with result of other method. Thus it is proved that this method is valid for evaluation of grout effeativenlss.
