Based on the engineering practice in slope stability treatment, this paper put forward and dicussed such general problems as: (a) Slope safety criterion.This paper proposed that the acceleration and subsidence curvature criterion be used to detemine the slope stability. (b) Underground pressure effect. It is the author's opinion that the slope grcut curtain prossibly will threaten the slope stability. (c) Bcundary condition for numerical analysis method. Generally during the determination of analysis-model the slope plane is considered as an ideal one, but in this case the calculated slope stability factor is on the high side. So the boundary condition of slope restraining must be taken into-account.
