From the viewpoit of scientific research management, the author looked back summarily CIMR's scientific reseach work during the Sen-Tenth Five Year Plan period and pointed out that research projects must be integrated with economical construction, the research work must be combined with dsvelopment of technology, equipment and product, and with solution of difficult technical problems, technical innovation and capital construction as well as with introduction of new techniques, solution of difficult problems and technological revolution.Three in one organization form of the science research, the design and the enterprise should be taken during the completion of projects. After appraisal the achievements of research projects must be changed into productive force as fast as possible. The author pointed out that when programming CIMR's science and research work during the eigth five year plan period, the advancement of technical progress, development of production and increment of economical benefit must be considered as the central task and the objective of struggle. Efforts must be made to produce more results, to produce qualified personals fast and to graspt effcts in order to make a new contribution to high speed development of mining industry of China.
