Abstract:In the No.2241 trial production stope, the orebody characters a gentle dip and thin ore vein in Xiangxi Gold Mine.The mechanized horizontal slicing-and-resuing method has been applied in which the wined-out area been backfilled withw allrocks through oriented pin-point blasting.To get an insight into the stope roof stability,the stoping process is simulated by finite element numerical method. The analyses for the stress, displacement and stope stability in the stope shows that this mining method under test is rational and feasible in design, and has good safety and reliability.
