The inclined thin gold deposit with a high grade of ore exists in Dongping Gold Mine. The shrintage mining made ore loss and dilution serious in trial production. Therefore, the upward slice stoping with waste filling was tested, resulting in the decrease of ore loss rate by 13.4% and dilution rate by 13.5%. The remarkable economic results have been obtained. This paper describes the optimized selection of mining method, the main complement technology for stoping and the study methods concerned.
