The science and technology development of cut-and-fill mining system was comprehensively expounded during the period of recent ten years at home and abroad. Based on the development of cut-and-fill mining technology, a new concept was put forward for the definition of cut-and-fill mining systems. The existing problems and trends in the development of cut-and-fill mining science and technology were also discussed in detail.
