Sodev’s empirical formula is difficult to reflect the characters of rock in forecasting blasting vibration because of large altitude difference.So this paper establishes a model for forecasting the peak velocity of blasting vibration with the fuzzy logic system toolbox in Matlab,and uses some test data to verify the model.The results show that the model is reliable when sample data is full.It provides a method for reference when traditional forecasting method is not applicable,especially the forecast of blasting vibration under large altitude difference.
