HCY-3 underground load-haul-dump(LHD) is mainly used for non-coal underground mines to shovel,transport loose material after blasting.This paper describes the main technical parameters,the basic structure and characteristics of HCY-3 LHD.The LHD composes of engine system,transmission system,driving system,brake system,hydraulic system,electrical system.Low-pollution water-cooled Deutz engine,torque converter and electronic power shift transmission,hydraulic braking system and other advanced technologies are used to the LHD,so it has such characteristics as reasonable layout of whole machine,compact structure,compact structure,good dynamic matching,small size,light in weight,easily installed and maintenance,little environmental pollution and so on.
