Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was used in the safety assessment of non-coal open pit.The mathematical model and the process from the division of evaluation units to getting the quantitative evaluation result were described in detail.After analysis,the factors causing accidents in non-coal open pit were discovered,and some measures to prevent the accidents were put forward.
