Abstract:Considering the factors influencing water bursting from coal seam floor,such as water source,water pressure,water-resisting layer,the depth of water-conducting floor fracture zone brought by mining,fault,and so on,using the data about water bursting from coal seam floor in some coal mining face in China as the training sample,based on the theory of Fisher Discriminant analysis,a distance discriminant analysis model for the forecasting of water bursting from coal seam floor.The application of the model in engineering indicated that the results obtained by it is better in accordance with the practice,it is practical and effective in forecasting water bursting from coal seam floor.
