Abstract:The theoretical study on dynamic behavior for geogrid reinforced retaining wall is still limited at present.In view of this situation,by using numerical analysis method,a preliminary study was made on the lateral displacement,the surface subsidence and the characteristics of displacement field of geogrid reinforced retaining wall under the "Loma Prieta" seismic load.The results showed that the geogrid reinforced retaining wall has good anti-deformation performance under dynamic load.The results of study enriched the theory about the dynamic characteristics of geogrid reinforced retaining wall,and are helpful to the engineering practice.
