According to the data obtained from the field engineering geology investigation in Beishan Mine,Guangxi Province,the engineering geology,hydrogeology conditions and the mechanical characteristics of surrounding rock of No.Ⅳ mined-out area in this mine were analyzed.The division of engineering geology rock groups,the rock fracture statistics and the classification of rock structures were made.The rock quality of different rock groups were classified and evaluated.
