Abstract:Using tetrabutyl titanate and ethanol as reaction raw materials and modified bentonite as carrier,a supported TiO2 photocatalyst was prepared by sol-gel method. The influences of the roasting temperature and time, the dosage of photocatalyst, acidification time, the ventilation amount and the concentration of H2O2 on the photocatalytic degradation of phenol-containing wastewater by supported TiO2 were investigated, and optimal experimental conditions of preparing TiO2 photocatalyst supported on modified bentonite was determined. The experimental results showed that using the TiO2 photocatalyst supported on modified bentonite, the photocatalytic degradation rate of phenol-containing wastewater may reach to 80%.
