Abstract:Over 20 times of Coal and gas outbursts had taken place in Zhongmacun coal mine,Henan Province,and directly affected the safety in the mining production.In-situ stress measurement in the fields of coal and gas outburst at this mine was carried out by means of hollow inclusion gauge method.The results indicate that the maximum principal stress is approximately at the horizontal direction,the minimum principal stress is approximately at the vertical direction.A finite element model for the measured region was built using ANSYS software,and the measured in-situ stress which was taken as surface loads and reasonable boundary conditions were put on the model.The nephograms of principal stresses on the coal layer in the region were obtained by simulate the in-situ stress fields,and the effects of the maximum principal stress on coal and gas outbursts was analyzed.
