Using finite element method,the static analysis and modal analysis were made on the tank that is a main part of articulated watering cart without underframe used in mine,the displacement distribution,stress distribution,first five natural frequencies and the corresponding vibration models were obtained.Based on the analysis of the calculated result,some unreasonable local structures were found out,and several design rules and proposals were presented.
