The article expounds the origin and using principle of geostatistics firstly,then builds geologic database of Wan Dong Shan ore section in Beiya gold mine,simulates the variogram of Au element,establishes the 3D model and grade model of this ore section,estimates its reserves by Kriging method,and makes geologic,analysis,discusses the practical application of the model.
