This paper introduces the functions and characteristics of electrical control system for cubic press, then expatiates a network control system based on CAN bus technology for cubic press, including its functions, software and hardware designs, CAN interface software of upper computer, as well as the design idea and applying results of the monitoring software, finally, illustrates the advantage of CAN bus.
