Now researches of 4D application are on probing phases theoretically in land reclamation of metal mine. The idea is put forward that 4D is applied to the whole process of tailing depot reclamation in metal mine, and then application methods are expatiated. The technological frame of dynamic monitoring system of land reclamation is developed after analyzing the status of tailing depot reclamation, and main approaches of establishing the system are briefly illustrated.
