Operational Research is one of widely applied sciences in recent years. It provides many optimization methods that help us make policy and decision in science way. In the light of the design and practical production of a mine, using the theories and methods of operational research,This paper establishes some mathematical models, makes quantitative analyses of the problems such as the optimization design of mining and the productive management of mine, etc., and makes a primary discussion on the application of operational research in the mining field.
