Abstract:Ganzhou Institute of Nonferrous Metallurgy Research, in cooperation with Titanium Concentrating Plant of Panzhihua Iron & Steel Co., used SLon-1500 vertical ring pulsating high gradient magnetic separator to carry out the commercial experiment of the magnetic separation in the magnetic separation-flotation flow sheet for micro-sized tail titaniferous iron produced by magnetic separation. At a TiO2 content of feed ore being 9.23% , a titanium concentrate with TiO2 grade of 19.58% was obtained through primary magnetic separating, with a separating recovery of 63.12%. The experiment had laid a solid foundation for obtaining a final titanium concentrate by flotation in Titanium Concentrating Plant of Panzhihua Iron & Steel Co..
