The necessity of developing CAD blasting systems is discussed. Development methods, currently popular both at home and abroad, are reviewed and summarized. Based on the characteristics of blasting operations as well as on the practical situation of the engineering aspects, research is conducted on the development methods of the blasting CAD system, concluding that the 'On-the-Fly Prototype' method suits the Blasting CAD system.
