The orebody shape of the breccia-type gold deposit in Qiyugou Gold Mining District is complicated and the status of ore occurrence is very hard to be determined by exploration.Therefore,a shallow-hole shrinkage mining method with flatbottom structure for the separate handling of ore and waste rock was used for the trial mining of this orebody.The test results showed that this mining method is fairly suitable for the exploitation of this sort of orebody.
