The author designed a type of switch yard with one-way gravity-glide hanging bridge in inclined shafty. The switching-off or switching-on of the unloaded or loaded cars on the same route and the gravity glide of cars according to the required direction can be conducted in this switch yard. In this way,the time for the auxiliary opcration can be lessened,and the production capacity of inclined shaft will be increased. The guiding ideology of design,all parameters design and the practical examples are described in this paper.
