The blocky rock cemented filling was a new filling technique developed in re-cent years in China,and was used first time in TongKen mine operated by Dachang MineBureau. The mechanics test of blocky rock cemented fill in the laboratory was conducted,combined with the in situ test by sound wave method, the mechanics parameters and performance of blocky rock cemented fill were determined. Furthermore , the finite elementmethod was adopted to analyze its stability, and the resuIts from the tests and analysiswere examined by the fill exposed in the ore pillar recovery.
