On the basis of analysing the defects of short raise formimg with one blastmethod previously used and the useful experiences of other mines,as well as in considerationof the rock conditions in Dongxiang mine,a new cutting scheme-nine holes cutting method isproposed.The basic principle of the method and resonable ways to determine relaed blast pa-rameters are described.
