The test data on rocks can be used for calculation of slope stability only after engineering treament and conversion into rock mass mechanics parameters. Based on the engineering geology and hydrogeology of Huidong Lead - Zinc Mine, the engineering treatment of rock mechanics parameters was discussed, and a specific method for determination of such parameters was proposed.
