Abstract:Experimentation and application of the block caving system in Jingshandian Iron Ore Mine, Wuhan Iron And Steel Co., and Lizhu Iron Ore Mine, Zhejiang Province, are presented in the paper. Aso described are the orebody cavability,undercut structure and method.Finally,a comprehensive assessment is given to the block caving system.
