Research and analysis show that stable working man-hours and trouble-tracing man-hours for any individual equipment unit obey nega -tive index distribution. Based on this, probability of various kinds of equipment systems at different production stages are studied and calculated. As a result, reliability of any individual equipment system may be evaluated. Consequently, a clear picture is obtained of the overall reliability of all equipment systems in the mine.
