At Kelatongke Mine, the first stage engineering design includes high-grade copper and nickel ore body mining with horizontal joints and unstable surrounding rock. The mined ore should be directly put into the smelting furnace. In that case, cut-and-fill mining method test has been carried successfully. This paper introduces this mining method test.
