According to the principle of least square method and the theories of numerical method,this paper uses computer to determine the best buried depth and corresponding blasting parameters of explosive, and thereby establishes the general rule for determining best buried depth of explosive. This method is used in the test of VCR stope in Anqing Copper Mine,the stope blasting parameters, which are determined on the basis of the best buried depth, and the correspond -ing blasting parameters, determined by the method mentioned above, are nearly the same as those used actually in stope, this proves the advantage of the above-mentioned method.The paper also discusses how to use computer to calculate the volume of blasting hopper.
