To explore the level of green development of mining industry in Great xiangxi and the driving force of green development. The study found:The Great Xiangxi region is in the red model of mining development, which is quite different from other mining green development demonstration areas and experimental areas; Safety and security and mining structure are important factors that affect the green development of mining, while energy structure indirectly affects the environment by influencing the intensity of rules; The Great Xiangxi region can use green finance to increase capital investment, enhance safety awareness and environmental protection awareness, increase the intensity of mine management, and develop mine parks in combination with tourism, and open up a green development path for mining through multiple channels.
