Paste filling mining method was used in a lead and zinc mine in yunnan province. In order to achieve safe and economic mining, this mine, this mine combined the advantages of upward and downward paste filling mining method for nested using in one section, mining of stable ore and rock with upward mining method, mining of fractured ore body in the environment of false roof reconstruction with backfill mining method. This mining technology can increase production capacity by 20% and reduce filling cost by 10%. The stability of the stope is verified by 3d numerical simulation. It provides engineering practice experience for similar mines.
