Abstract:According to the characteristic of bad integrality of overlying rock mass in Beiminghe Iron Mine in which sublevel caving without sill pillar is applied,a research was done for predicting the mining-induced subsidence in the mine based on the system MSDAS-GIS(Mining Subsidence Damage Assessment Systems GIS),which is developed by probability-integral and component technique.A three-dimensional calculating model related to geographic, geologic information and their inherent attribute properties was established. The predicted results were analyzed and processed by the use of the powerful spatial analysis and graphical display function of GIS,so that the influencing degree and scope of the mining-induced subsidence on the surrounding environment were intuitively reflected, and the applicability of the established model was verified.
